A leading provider of waste management and environmental services needed a large, reliable workforce to support one of the nation’s biggest and most high-profile golf tournaments. Their team was responsible for maintaining cleanliness and managing recycling across the full tournament footprint, including the venue grounds and a concurrent concert series. 

The work was demanding. It required a physically capable workforce trained in strict recycling and safety protocols. Shifts started well before sunrise — some as early as 4:30 AM — and continued late into the night to handle post-concert cleanup. 

To meet the expectations of an event of this scale, the client needed a staffing partner who could recruit, prepare and manage hundreds of vetted, compliant associates across a tight and fast-moving schedule.

Across the week-long event, PeopleReady consistently delivered between 30 and 110 associates per shift, adjusting staffing levels in real time to match changing needs across tournament operations and the concurrent concert series. In total, our local team filled 824 shifts against a requirement of 795, achieving a 104% fulfillment rate. This included essential early-morning crews reporting at 4:30 AM and late-night teams supporting post-concert cleanup.
