Safety

If you get hurt on the job, immediately report the injury to your site supervisor AND the branch staff. You can call Nurseline at any time (24/7) to speak directly to a registered nurse about your injury and for help in making the right decision in getting medical care. Note: For immediate medical attention, or life-threatening injuries, call 911. Ask your branch for more details about the program.

Safety

If the injury is serious or life-, sight-, or limb-threatening, call 911 immediately and report the injury to the PeopleReady office as soon as you can.

Canadian Injury Procedures

If you are injured on the job while working for a Canadian PeopleReady branch, follow these steps:

Advise your immediate supervisor and call your PeopleReady branch immediately.

If the injury occurs after branch hours, you can still call and leave a message with the Message Centre. Just use the same branch phone number. Report the injury to your PeopleReady branch the next day.

If the injury is serious or life-, sight-, or limb-threatening, call 911 immediately. Report the injury to the PeopleReady office as soon as you can.

Remember that PeopleReady has a strong return-to-work program for injured associates, and modified duties are available to you starting the next business day after any injury that allows for a return to work with restrictions.
